Celebrate the tenth anniversary of AidEx on 17-18 November 2021 at Brussels Expo
AidEx encompasses a conference featuring inspirational thought leaders, an exhibition which is the largest of its kind in the world, training programmes, networking opportunities and a dedicated awards programme recognising individuals and innovations that truly inspire. Its fundamental aim is to engage the sector at every level and provide a forum for humanitarian aid professionals to meet, source, supply and learn. AidEx was created to help the international aid community engage the private sector in a neutral setting, drive innovation and support the ever-growing need for emergency aid and development programmes.
Each year over 2,500 representatives of the humanitarian aid and development community from over 65 countries attend an AidEx event. Attendees come from UN Agencies, the EU, Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, local and international NGOs, government and the private sector.
Each year the AidEx Steering Committee discuss a topic that the event should focus on to make sure it remains current and delivers what our visitors and suppliers need. Our past conference themes have included Localisation, Sustainable Development, Innovation and Collaboration. The 2020 webinar series theme was 'Response, recovery and resilience: optimising humanitarian responses to manage global crises’. The 2021 conference theme will be announced shortly.
In the lead up to AidEx 2021, AidEx is also running a series of webinars.
