7 years of reflection

In February 2023 Humanitarian Alternatives celebrated “7 years of reflection”. To mark the occasion, one of the review’s co-founders, Jean-Baptiste Richardier, and our editor-in-chief, Boris Martin, put pen to paper to share some of their highlights of these past years of collective work. It was also a perfect occasion for us to meet some of the people who contribute to the life of the review (members, subscribers or authors) to discuss their connection with Humanitarian Alternatives. You will find on this page all the content we dedicated to our 7th anniversary.

For a month, to celebrate our anniversary, we met some of the people who contribute to the life of the review. We share with you the responses they provided to a few questions we asked them (make sure to click on each picture to see the entire testimonies).

All of the publications on this site are freely accessible because our work is made possible in large part by the generosity of a group of financial partners. However, any additional support from our readers is greatly appreciated! It should enable us to further innovate, deepen the review’s content, expand its outreach, and provide the entire humanitarian sector with a bilingual international publication that addresses major humanitarian issues from an independent and quality-conscious standpoint. You can support our work by subscribing to the printed review, purchasing single issues or making a donation. We hope to see you on our online store!
