Mon combat contre la malnutrition Michel Lescanne, avec Christian Troubé Éditions Eyrolles, 2025

Editor’s note

“Your idea has no future!” Michel Lescanne, a young agricultural engineer, had just handed in his final dissertation, and he was set on making his dream of designing products to combat world hunger a reality. In the 1970s, when famines in Africa were making the headlines, he had an immense challenge ahead of him with many obstacles. Today, the Nutriset Group, which he founded in 1986, is present wherever malnutrition is rife, in Africa, Asia, Latin America and even in France, helping to save the lives of millions of children and adults. This is the story of its founder.

Michel Lescanne, a food industry engineer, is Chairman of the Nutriset Group, which he founded in 1986.

Christian Troubé is a journalist and writer specializing in geopolitical issues. He has been working with the Nutriset Group for over 15 years.
